My favorite sandwich to this day is peanut butter and strawberry jam with bbq potato chips in it!! :-)
I've always liked to put chips in my hot dogs. I like the crunch!
I haven't actually tried one, but I feel rather vindicated by the fact that I am not the only one who puts potato chips IN my sandwiches!
