This woman was making a set of six placemats. She said it would take one week to make them. If you look at how small each bead is, it's amazing to me that she can even make ONE placemat.I think she is so beautiful. There is a staid dignity in her eyes, isn't there?

What a wonderful photo and sentiment. I can't tell you how much this simple photo touched me. You are right, there is something special reflected in her eyes.
Amazing! Am thinking that one of those placemats takes one week, not all 6. I think of myself as a fast beader and if I were to use Ann Benson's method for off-loom weaving for this style of mat...no way could I do one in ONE day!
The glint of her eyes, she loves what she does. That lady is inspiring.
