...there was a Culture Navigation Fairy that would magically help me deal with confusing bureaucracy, tell me what's normal and what's not, what I must say and do, which queue to stand in, how to respond in unfamiliar situations, when a person is being rude and when it's just part of the culture, and encourage me at the end of each day.Anyone know where to find one?

Would love to include you as we orient our new apprentices in February. We do a lot of that stuff.
Locals are also good, but sometimes they forget to explain what is normal for them.
